People use this site in different ways, including with screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, and enlarged text. We want the site to work for them. Accessibility requires ongoing testing and improvement.
What we aim for
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, level AA. In practice, that includes readable text sizes, sufficient color contrast, meaningful alternative text for images, labels for form fields, visible keyboard focus, and navigation that works without a mouse.
Where we know we fall short
Our videos live on YouTube, which provides automatic captions. Automatic captions can make mistakes, especially with medical terms, and not every video has a reviewed transcript. Embedded players from YouTube and Spotify are built by those companies, and we do not control every part of their accessibility.
Tell us when something does not work
If a page, form, or video is hard for you to use, tell us and we will review the problem and address barriers within our control. Use the Contact form and choose Accessibility problem, or email hello@selfprinciple.org. Include the page address, the device or assistive technology you were using, and what happened if you can.
